Swimming, Gymnastics and Tball!

A weekend full of sports fun!
Friday night we started off with our mock meet. The kids loved it. Alex won his heat by a smidge. Poor Conleigh gulped a ton of water but she stuck to it and enjoyed herself, so we are happy. The team had a great kick-off party after the short meet and as Peter said, "this is why we moved to this neighborhood." It was great fun!

Saturday we were able to relax at home in the morning. Sweet Campbell sat on my lap and said, "are we going to school?" Nope. "Are we going to the Y?" Nope. "Are we going to church?" Nope. "Well, what are we going to do?" It was wonderful to have nothing to do.
The neighborhood held the Remodeled Homes tour this weekend. I love going to see the updates people have done to their homes. We had a babysitter and Peter & I trekked around and checked it out. Fun stuff. After 3 homes, we came and picked up Conleigh and went to her gymnastics show. She got her first gymnastics medal and was super happy. She went to a few houses with us afterwards. When we got home, we walked across the street to our new neighbors crawfish boil. Peter was in heaven. We spent a little time there and then came home and got the next babysitter, so we could go to the beer tasting party that we purchased at the school auction in March. Nice evening and good results with new babysitter. She came back today so we could finish the remodeled homes tour. Kids are wondering why they had so many babysitters this weekend.
I attended training for VBS and then we were off to the TBall end-of-season party at CeCe's pizza. All the boys got big trophies and Peter was recognized with a signed ball and a nice gift card for his efforts as a coach. Alex & his best bud Hayden (aka Chicken).
Whew. I'm tired. Let's get this last week of school on-the-road and let the summer begin!
