We've had the sickies in our house again this week! All the children went to school on Valentines Day happy to celebrate with their friends. At 1:00, the call comes that Campbell is running a fever. I was down at UT and had planned to make it to the elementary school for the V-day parties. Thankfully, Peter was able to pick up Campbell. She ran a fever that evening, and had a low fever Tuesday, but I didn't take her to the doctor. We had touched base with Granny to see if she could come be with her on Wednesday. I had the Editorial Director for all of Science publishing working with me Wednesday at UT....probably not a good call to just say I cannot make it.
Once again, Sarah to the rescue. She drove up to Austin Tuesday evening.
Wednesday morning. Alex wakes up with a fever too. Ugh! We get a doctor's appointment scheduled for the two sickies. Peter takes them. By the time the doctor sees Campbell, she is bouncing off the walls and doesn't appear sick. Diagnosis: Campbell = flu and ear infection. Alex = Strep
Can Conleigh stay well? We will hope.
