A Regular Tuesday Afternoon

I love spending my days with my Top Gun. He is a very proud soccer medal holder. Check it out.
While we were taking pictures of soccer medals and videos of kung-fu fighting, Miss Campbell was napping in her bathing suit with Nilla Wafers between her legs. Ah. Relaxation! We spent the morning playing hard at the park with friends, and Conleigh got out of school early today & is now at gymnastics.

Mother's Day

I don't think it can get any sweeter! I love being a mom to these three children. What an honor and blessing God has bestowed on me to serve Him through serving them. My prayer is to constantly be better at my job of MOM! The best job around.

Peter walked in and said, "WHY is Alex wearing pink boots?" I guess you had to be here,but it sounded so funny!

I like to walk through Goodwill. They have auctions each week and I like to see what they have on the auction. Today at Goodwill I found these cute pink boots. Of course, I bought them for the girls, but truth be told they are exactly the right size for Alex now.

For the love of Teeth

Conleigh is still hanging on to all her baby teeth. No wiggles yet as far as i know.

Boy, Oh Boy, Oh Boy!

Alex just may get a visit from the tooth fairy first. Last week he was practicing soccer in the house! Next thing you know his mouth hit the wood floor - HARD! One of his big teeth was bleeding at the gum and the tooth was definitely not in the same spot as it has been all of his four years of life!

As I took Conleigh to her soccer practice soon after, I said, "I think Alex may lose his tooth." She said, "No Mommy. It won't fall out. Four year olds don't lose teeth."

Fast forward to the next morning... we go to the pediatric dentist. They x-ray. There are no roots left holding in both big teeth. They are both very wiggly and the doc didn't give much hope that they will last long.

I left the dentist office and made an appointment to have pictures made the next day. The pictures turned out precious! A week later Alex still has all his teeth. The one tooth is slowly turning darker. We're watching for it to possibly fall out, but I'm hopeful it may stay in since he's made it a week.

The tooth fairy is on stand-by for now.

Birthday Celebration for Daddy

Peter's birthday fell on a Saturday this year. We started off the morning with soccer. Go Coach Peter!
Our friends, Mark & Stephanie Robinson joined us at the soccer game and then spent the weekend with us. It was great to hang out with them and their almost one year old daughter, Savannah.
When we got home, the kids gave Daddy their gifts. They had each painted a picture for Peter. Very cute and sweet.
We didn't quite get to baking a cake, but we did decorate one from the store. For dinner, Peter made a delicious salmon dinner. Hopefully, he thinks we celebrated right!

Weekend in Review

We had plans to go to College Station this weekend for the maroon & white football scrimmage at A&M. I'd really been looking forward to that trip. The kids know I love the Aggies but they really don't know that there is a place where Aggies are everywhere! Unfortunately, the rain we have so needed decided to come on Friday and Saturday. We scratched the trip.
Both soccer games were cancelled due to soaked fields. So, what to do? What to do? Peter lobbied for a trip to a local brewery celebration. We did that. He got to put back a few brews and the kids jumped in a jump house and got some tattoos drawn on their arms. They were thrilled.
Conleigh attended a friends birthday party Saturday afternoon and then we went to our friends the Welsch's for a fun cajun dinner party. The kids all had a blast and it was a relaxing evening. Late night for the kids though. They didn't fall into bed until after 10:30.
Peter helped me teach the 3's Sunday school this morning. I really enjoyed having him with me.
After church, we went to another birthday party for our neighbor, Cameron. She celebrated the big #5 at a fun place we had never been called Jungle Java.
Once that party was over, we came home and the kids crashed and watched a movie, Despereaux. I went for a walk with Brittiany and Peter surfed the net.
Now back to school and work, so we can relax.
