Conleigh was in our room bright & early and very excited about what she found in the front yard. In preparation for our hawaiian luau birthday party, I made arrangements with a local church to 'flamingo' our yard. It was great! We had about 30 flamingos in our yard all weekend.
We enjoyed a great celebration for Conleigh. The kids wore flowers in their hair and leis around their neck, they did the limbo (so did Peter), they jumped on the trampoline...
drank Hawaiian punch out of cute cups, ate chicken nugget shish-kabobs, painted wooden frames and decorated them, and ran around like silly seven year olds.
Conleigh wanted to decorate her own cake. She did a superb job,
and then she made this sign to warn anyone who may have considered licking it. Just in case you need help reading it, it says, "No licking at all. Pronto. I mean it. Grr."
