Campin'

** Thanks for sharing your pictures Liz ** Thank you Mr. HEB
We didn't take a break after our California trip. About 24 hours at home and we hit the road again. This time we headed to south Texas, Leakey to be exact. We had a wonderful time with our church family, as usual. The weather did not cooperate. It was blustery cold and windy all day on Saturday. I figure God wanted us all to take it easy. And that we did. Games and crafts were the order of the day in the ranch house. Everyone (all 250+ people) hung out and visited, drank hot chocolate, and ate cookies. The men & boys did take a short hike where they met with freezing rain at the top of the hill. By afternoon, the troops were restless. We pulled out the DVD and about 6 little girls found their spot on the mattress to watch, The Princess & the Frog. I napped. Our boys even napped. Alex didn't care about the cold. His cheeks are chapped from riding his scooter all weekend in the wind. It is the best place to ride a scooter. The concrete is smooth and there are big stretches of it, so you can go and go.
Campbell was in heaven sleeping on the bottom bunk. One of her little Sunday school friends was there and they were so cute running around. They stood at the conductor stand and sang and waved their hands around. It was precious.
Conleigh wanted to hang out in the cabin. I guess she is showing how grown up she is by doing her own thing.

After worship on Sunday, we went to Hunt, TX with our friends the Schultz's. There we saw Stonehenge II and ate at a great roadside diner with scrumptious hamburgers.
