Starting the year...

Christmas Eve 2011
It's been a whirlwind through the holidays and the first few weeks of the new year. We had a wonderful holiday season with the highlight gift being the surprise for a Walt Disney World trip which starts next week.  Giving the kids the trip on Christmas morning and then saying, "it's in 30 days" was a little downer, but they have really enjoyed the countdown and talk about what all we'll do when we get there. Our paper chain is down to nine days!
Disney shirts and super excitement on Christmas morning.
We spent the new year at home as usual. We invited some friends over and celebrated the New York New year.  I like that tradition.

Conleigh with Grace & Katie. We met them for skating.  Golson girls are not big fans of skating.
We went roller skating four times over the Christmas holidays. The kids are totally in to it! They all love, love it!We even went again today for Martin Luther King Jr day!
Susan and her boys came to visit us for a night over the holidays.  Ryan and Alex are getting crazy with the wig collection
I spent the first week of the year in San Diego for work. Hard to complain about that. Peter said they go into survival mode around here when I'm gone. I got to go to dinner with the Lin family. That visit was definitely a highlight of the trip.  Thankfully, I made my goal again for 2011. Only about 20% of the sales force did and management faced it and didn't try to sweep it under the rug. It was a tough year.
Colleges start tomorrow. And we're off...
