Deck the Halls with painted flower pots.
We went to a family friendly art show last weekend, the Cherrywood Art Fair. It was fun to look at all the local art offerings. We found a couple of gifts and the children got to use their artistic abilities to paint some flower pots. Now we need to plant the seeds and we'll be set.

Sunday Peter and I went back to buy the magic wand that almost cost us to lose a daughter. Conleigh was so angry with us on Saturday for not buying her the magic wand, she was ready to find a new family. So...we are letting Grandpa Hardin be the hero and give her one for Christmas. The woman we bought it from was quite interesting to say the least. The wand (a small copper pipe with beads on each end) was made on a Wednesday, in a waxing moon and was only brushed in one direction, etc. etc. I really wanted to laugh at her and Peter didn't like it that we were supporting this woman. Anywho, our daughter is still part of our family even though she doesn't even know she will be getting a magic wand for Christmas.
